According to the District Police Office, Jhapa.,Two persons were injured in a lightning strike in Jhapa district on Tuesday morning. 
Phulmaya Bardewa, 47, and Krishna Bardeba, 42, of Milanchowk, Arjundhara Municipality-11 were struck by lightning as they were staying at their houses, Both the injured ones have been receiving treatment at the Manmohan Hospital in Birtamod, according to DPO, Jhapa Spokesperson Mahendra Kumar Shrestha. 
Spokesperson Shrestha shared that the storm occurred in the morning had lowered more than half a dozen electricity poles in various places in the locality.
